Instagram Reels is the latest feature to create video content on Instagram. One of the popular trends on Instagram Reel is the moving song lyric videos. If you've ever found it and are also interested in how to make Instagram Reels with song lyrics, you've come to the right place. This article will discuss the tutorial on how to add lyrics to Instagram Reels in different ways.

Part 1 How to Add Lyrics to Instagram Reels Directly

In fact, Instagram Reels can bring up song lyrics automatically with its lyric effects, including the 3D Lyrics and Dynamic Lyrics, which are the new update for Instagram Reel. You can use the lyrics effects to show the lyrics of a song as it plays along on Instagram Reels.

Step 1

Open the Instagram app on your device, hit the + icon in the top right corner, or swipe right on the homepage to create a new post.

Tap REELS at the bottom to open the Reels Camera, and then tap the three stars icon on the left to open the effects tray.

There is another way to add lyrics to Instagram Reels that you can try. You can make the video on Reels or Story first, then insert the lyrics with the Story feature and upload it back to Instagram Reels.

Step 1

Open the Story feature on Instagram first, upload or record a video that you want to add song lyrics to just like you do while making a story.

Step 2

Next, go to stickers and select Music to add a song. This should lead you to the music selection page and from there. Simply search for and find the song you want to make a lyric text for.

Step 3

After that, the lyrics will appear automatically, and the format of the lyrics can also be changed as desired. You can change the color, font type, animation, and position of the song lyrics.

When appropriate, save the story and don't post it yet. This will save the video without music, but that's totally okay.

Step 5

Now, swipe the toggle from Story to Reels and tap Audio (the note icon) from the sidebar, and find the same song which lyrics you've put in earlier.

Upload the lyric video of the song you made and saved before, then you can make some adjustments to ensure the timing matches and tap Done once finished.
