The Geometry of Play
The Geometry of Play
I love watching people move — especially when they are completely absorbed in the game. For a moment, everything becomes a funny and unexpected composition.
I draw these moments mostly with colored pencils, trying to keep the energy of the original movement. I leave some things unfinished and let the paper show through. For me, the drawings are less about getting every detail right and more about catching the movement, the excitement and the strange shapes people make when they play.
